Everything I practiced and learned during my courses related to vocabulary has pushed me to be more intentional in teaching my students new theme based words, literacy and math content words. Below is a galley of images showing how I still incorporate vocabulary into my daily instruction and remain focused on explicitly teaching vocabulary.  Most of these strategies were learned during my teachers as researchers class and I have continued to use these strategies daily in Kindergarten.
